30 Day Emergency Shelter Elder Abuse Program Project Employ Pat's Boutique Transitional Housing Services 24 Hour Hotline Safety & Goal Planning Residential & Non-residential Counseling Legal Advocacy Medical Advocacy Children's Advocacy Community Outreach/Prevention Education Project EmployAn intensive 14 week employment program and internship provided to any individual in need. (A Partnership with Bethlehem Haven of Pittsburgh and the Allegheny County Department of Health and Human Services)Program Details: • Classes include topics like: Finding a job that fits, winning resumes, sell you at an interview, finding employment with a criminal background, coping with change, making good decisions and money talks. • Create a professional resume that will highlight your skills • Network with local employers • Practice interviewing with actual hiring managers and learn techniques for addressing gaps in your work history • Learn how to dress and present yourself professionally One on One Sessions • Meet one on one with Occupational Therapist and an Employment Specialist to overcome barriers to employment Internships • Eight week internships are required with a minimum requirement of four hours per weeks • Tailored to your interests and career goals • Sites such as social service providers, restaurants, hospitals, technology companies, museums, construction companies, and cleaning companies are available. • Internships provide you with recent work experience and references and can help with readjusting to the workplace.
